Chelsea has announced its interest in signing Everton Midfielder Tom Davies to Stamford Bridge,
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has been given the go ahead to spend big this summer window by owner Roman Abramovich, as he weighing up a move for the 19-year-old Davies.
The west London club has already signed Antonio Rudiger, Willy Caballero, and Alvaro Morata this window, and want to add to Davies to their collection, following the player’s impressive 2016/17 Premier League season, where he is considered one of the top prospects in English football.
The midfielder would be wary, though, as the reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have a habit of sending youth talent out on loan, rather than giving them the chance to break into the first team straight away. Davies’ competition, if he were to be signed, would be the likes of N’Golo Kante and French international Tiemoue Bakayoko, in the center of the park.
