Antoine Griezmann Confirms He’s In Talks With Atletico Madrid About His Future
Griezmann has said he is in talks with Atletico Madrid about his future at the club.
French International, Antoine Griezmann, 27, is under contract until 2022, but has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer.
The Frenchman scored a vital equaliser for Atletico in the 1-1 draw at Arsenal in last night’s Europa League semi-final second leg.
“If I’m going to continue at Atletico, I don’t know, we’ll see,” Griezmann told COPE. “We’re talking to the club to see what can be done.”
Antoine Griezmann’s goal, however, means that the Colchoneros will take on Arsenal back in Madrid as favourites to advance to the final – and the forward recognised that his strike was vital.
“In the goal I arrived in the area tired after the run I had made, but I was able to score. We needed that goal.
