After the furore he caused with his picture suggesting that Neymar was staying at Barcelona, controversial Barcelona centre-half, Gerard Pique said in a press conference that he would understand if the Brazilian left the Camp Nou but was also quick to verbally attack the reputation of the Ligue 1 dethroned Champions Paris Saint-Germain who are strongly linked with a move for the former Santos man.
This comes off the back of strong rumours that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to pay the 222 million euro release clause for the 25-year-old forward.
The former Manchester United man who did offer some advice to his Brazilian teammate made it clear in Barcelona's press conference that it should be Neymar who makes the final decision regarding his future.
"Don't go to Paris. Don't go to a league that, with all due respect, is not as good.
"You would be putting all of your eggs in one basket: the Champions League. If you don't win it, you won't get the recognition you deserve." Pique said in Barcelona's press conference as quoted on MARCA
In addition, Pique has already stirred the pot a little by uploading a picture to Instagram with his arm around Neymar, stating 'Se queda [He stays]'.
